Students will have the opportunity to explore math\, science\, and physics while riding and observing the mechanics behind our world-class coasters and thrilling attractions. At Physics Day\, we’ve got everything you need to inspire the next generation of scientists! \nGrab your spot before anyone else. Kick back\, relax\, and take credit for the best field trip ever! \nData Collection \nSeveral different smartphone apps may help in data collection and analysis while in the park. Suggested apps are Physics Toolbox by Vieyra Software\, and another is phyphox by TWTH Aachen University. \nPhysics Toolbox has a rollercoaster mode built in\, and phyphox can create an experiment by combining the altitude and accelerometer sensors. This will only work for phones that have a barometer. Some phones do not have this sensor. If using a smartphone\, it must be stored in a secure pocket for the entire duration of the ride. This music festival offers a fantastic opportunity for young musicians to showcase their talents. It is open to concert bands from elementary\, middle\, junior\, and senior high schools\, as well as choirs\, including men’s\, women’s\, mixed\, and treble groups. Your band or choral ensemble will have the chance to perform in front of esteemed adjudicators who will listen\, evaluate\, and provide feedback on your performance. \nFestival performances take place inside Six Flags St. Louis. Once the performances are over\, students can look forward to spending the afternoon in the park\, enjoying all that Six Flags St. Louis has to offer!
